The MegaRAID SAS 9271-8i 6Gb/s SAS and SATA RAID controller card is designed to meet the needs for capacity, performance and data protection in data center, cloud and high-performance computing environments. This card is powered by the LSI SAS 2208 RAID on Chip (RoC) controller, and features two 800MHz PowerPC processor cores and a 72-bit DDRIII interface that drives 1GB cache memory. And with eight internal ports, the 9271-8i controller includes the latest PCI Express 3.0 and 6Gb/s SAS technology for unmatched RAID performance.
