Not bad

Pros: -low profile design
-side window with light up NZXT logo
-cable management features built in

Cons: -interior layout could have been been better
-power button sometimes takes multiple tries

Other Thoughts: Been using this case for about 2-3 years now and it still holds up well. I actually bent the usb 3.0 prongs on my motherboard because I could not get the cable to go into properly. The root of my problem was that a curvature in the frame blocked the usb cables from the front of the case from smoothly entering the slot on my mobo. As a result my front usb ports don't work, everything else still does though.

Good, But Broke After 4 years

Pros: -Comes with fans
-Ok IO
-Looks Good
-Dust Filters

Cons: -Bad Airflow
-Fans went bad after about 3 years
-Usb Ports went bad in 4 years.
-Led's never worked
-Side Panel Easily scratched

Other Thoughts: Nzxt fans are loud and break quickly, replace them.
The Usb Ports will become really weak after a while

Good but with flaws

Pros: Good looking design. Pleasing to the eye.

Solid build. I can literally sit on this tower when I was plugging all the cables in and it wouldn't buckle.

Has some nice plugs on the front: x2 USB-2, x2 USB-3, the headphone and the mic. (But no USB-C!)

Comes with a lot of screws, cables and standoffs.

Has multiple HDD/SSD bays inside. Very easy to find space for an extra disk drive.

It is raised off the floor, which is nice for the ventilation, esp. when it's sitting on the carpet.

It comes with 3 fans on the front panel and one in the back. No need to purchase extra cooling fans.

Cons: The main beef I had with this tower is its clearance on the top. I needed to mount a Corsair Hydro H115i Pro water cooler radiator and two of its fans on the top of this tower and they didn't fit nicely with the motherboard, to the point that I had to seriously bend the CPU power cable that goes into the mobo and not use some screws on the fans.
Additionally, the holes on the radiator didn't line up. So I had to drill them myself.

Also, just an advice, do not plug the HDD LED cable for the power button on the top of the case. Otherwise it will light up like some sort of a strobe light. So if you don't turn off your PC at night, like I do, this thing will make your room look like a deadmau5 concert. So I had to unplug it the next day.

There's not enough room (width wise) in the back to hide all the cables. I had to literally push down hard on the back lid to just have it closed.

The screws are really easy to strip off. So be very gentle with them.

It came with some screws and cables, but not enough for my motherboard. Especially with internal SATA cable. It had only x4.

There's no USB-C plug on the front panel. It has x2 USB-2 and x2 USB-3 and the headphone and the mic plugs, but not USB-C. Why?

Other Thoughts: Overall, my mistake was to buy the Corsair Hydro H115i Pro water cooler instead of the NZXT one that every one was using. I would guess that if I did so, it would've fit better. It's a shame though that we're forced to do this!

Its a nice looking case. Should provide ample air flow. Cross threaded nightmare.

Pros: - Sturdy
- Rolled edges
- Well placed openings to allow for better cable management
- Includes 4 fans
- Lots of the thumb screws are captive. Remaining attached to the drive tray instead preventing them from jumping on the floor as soon as they are removed.
- It has a window

Cons: - 50% of the thumbscrews were cross threaded from the factory
- Quality Control seemed to be lacking.
- It has a window. I'd much rather just have another windowless panel for the left side, but apparently I am an old curmudgeon showing my age.

Other Thoughts: This really looked and felt like a high end PC case until I started taking things apart to begin my build. My initial impression was immediately replaced with the feeling that this case was unlovingly assembled by someone who is not paid nearly enough money for the mind-numbing job of assembling the components of this case.

AT LEAST half of the thumb screws in this case were cross threaded into place at the factory and causing much headache for myself. The half that were not cross threaded were bent at odd angles. Luckily I have a very deep tool box and was comfortable getting out my tap set and setting all the problem threaded holes straight.

I've spent less money on some really bad cases in my lifetime, and never have I experienced this level of headache working with cross threaded screws. Back in my day computer cases were made of steel, cut your hands to shreads, and were all painted beige! Now Get off my LAN!

An overall Excellent Case and great customer service.

Pros: -The red color looks a bit loud in photos, but in person it's fairly understated, which is quite nice.
-related to it's particular shade of red: It fits the Fatal1ity Gaming X that went in it, right down to the black/Red IO panel even!
-in speaking of back IO. there's a light you can turn on that lights up the IO (I didn't know I needed that feature until I had it, very handy indeed!). It also lights up *everything else* (more on that later).
-because it has no 5.25 bays, it has a crapton of 3.5' bays. You could hide a nice NAS server in one of these, provided you're not running radiators.
-It has room for a radiator, or two if you're clever and careful about it (they need to be thin)
-lots of cable routing options (many more then the Tempest 410 it replaced), and the grommets actually stay in place. They're also lined up pretty well to the motherboard I chose.
-Has a fan controller that lets you power the fans via Molex plug, but control speed with a PWM pin (which is great, but there are some quirks)
-SSD racks on the PSU shroud. I can show off my dirt cheap MX500's like they're EVOs.
-The PSU can be slid out the back of the case on it's own, which is handy (provided you don't have super short PSU cables like I do)
-The black finish on the front and sides of the case is rather scratch resistant. The PC sits on top of the desk, so I have to slide around my USB stuff until I find the port. and I have yet to scratch it. That window.. however...
-The fans are rather quiet for stock case fans.
-magnetic dust covers, if getting to them is a bit of a pain.
-the HDD and power lights aren't blinding like the Tempest 410's where.
-the feet actually hold the case a good bet off the desk so my PSU fan isn't making so much noise.
-there's an extra HDD spot under the shroud, nice if you want to put a radiator up front.

Cons: -While the light behind the back is nice... The overall lighting the case comes with is... BRIGHT. so the only time I use that feature is when I need to work on something in there (which hasn't been too often after putting it together). It's a really minor thing really, but I feel it's worth mentioning. You could use this at the top of a lighthouse to guide ships in during a storm, it's that bright.
-the shroud doesn't come out of the case. Not a big deal, unless you're using your old PC's power supply and the cables are super short. getting those PCIE connectors in was fun on the fingers.
-while the metal parts of the case are quite durable, the plastic window is very soft. I scratched mine with a light bump on the first day (NZXT replaced it under warrenty, and that was an awesome experiance, but I'll touch on that later)
-the fan controller works fine, but it doesn't report an RPM back to the PWM port. This seems to confuse my motherboard a little bit. so it turns the case fans up and down in steps. a minor quip, but one that makes setting fan curves for the case a bit odd.
-To get to the fan covers, you have to remove both sides of the case, then push the plastic pins, then remove the panels, then you can get the covers off.
-the HDD caddy rack things are a little fiddly to get in and out. I'll be removing those to put in a radiator at some point anyway..

Other Thoughts: I scratched the window of the case gently getting past my door (it did nothing to the surface of the metal, just the plastic window). I figured "Well, it didn't ship like this, guess I have to buy myself a door". I emailed NZXT to buy one, since they don't sell spare parts on their site. I explained what happened and that I figured it was my fault, and they simply replaced it under warranty. I got the door a week or so later. Dominic (the guy who was handling it) kept me appraised until it was shipped out. that was about the most painless Customer service request I've ever had dealing with computer equipment. I'll be getting cases from NZXT for the forseeable future.

I still have the panel with the scratched window, and that is now my 'transport' panel so I don't scratch the new one. Other then the fragile window, and other little nitpicks, this case is flawless. It'll last me at least as long as the 410 Elite did, probably longer.

Best Case I've ever owned

Pros: Very easy to install components. Plenty of room for routing cables. This is a very quiet case with plenty of room for 280mm water cooler mounted on the top or the front. Sleek design and solid construction. Built in LED (back-porch light) helps seeing all the ports in the back of the system, even in a dark room or under a desk. Even with platter 3.5in HDD used, I was still easily able to fit an MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X. Currently I'm using 3 SSD hard drives, 3 platter SATA drives, with plenty of room for more.

Cons: I did not use the fan hub that came with the case. It would not have allowed individual control of each fan in the system. I had enough room on my MB to control each case fan separately.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this and I plan to buy another one soon.

Nice looking case!

Pros: Very sleek
Secluded Power supply area to hide cables
Feels heavy duty

Cons: Panel removal screws are TIGHT. Trying to turn them by thumb is a pain. Literally.

Other Thoughts: If you dont need a cd drive, and like the less is better simple look, this is definitely for you.
