The company name Maxell originates from the brand name "Maxell" (Maximum Capacity Dry Cell=dry cell with the highest performance) created for the dry batteries that constituted its business at the time of foundation. We have set up "Within, the Future" as our bland slogan and included it in our corporate logo as tag line, which represents the thought that we are always with people. The small triangle following "Within" is named "The Growing Triangle" and the shaping itself rising to the right is imaged "the future" and "sustainable growth". Our basic philosophy is to maintain our pride as a Maxell citizen and contribute to society through the development of outstanding voluntary technologies and products. Our basic philosophy is to make "Harmony and cooperation, working with heart and soul, and contributing to society" a Corporate Creed, while continuing to inherit founding spirit of "harmony and cooperation," "putting our spirit into work," and "wanting to serve society."
