Hi, just to be clear for understanding on my half, the contents that this contains is 5 DVDs and each of the DVDs contains a capacity of 8.5GB?

That is absolutely correct. Five blank DVD+R disks in thin jewel cases, each having a capacity of up to 8.5 GB of info. They worked well on my burner. I suspect, however, that they may not work with all burners, especially with older hardware and older burning software.
