Neither. You mean to ask GSM or CDMA? The answer to that question is quad band GSM. You can Google for which bands it supports.

I after purchasing this phone I brought it overseas and it worked with an overseas SIM card.

Oh sorry you said sim card. It is the smaller size not sure exact terminology but my sim card came two in one and i had to break out the smaller one.

I had that phone and I think it does. I now have the S4 Mini. Here is a link where you can download the manual. It is the Samsung site in the UK. You just can't go wrong with a Samsung.

Is this product covered by Samsung USA warranty?

To my knowledge it is not. They have been changing a lot of things lately so I would contact Samsung Customer Care before sending  it out of country. They may have changed their warranty on these international phones. I now have the S4 mini and love it.

Is this version the I8190L or the I8190 ?

I need to know because i will be using it in Latin America and i need the 3G band to be 850, which is the I8190L version
