Q1: Does the current transformer need to distinguish between the L line and N line?
A1: No, it doesn't. Just choose one of them. However, please do not pass both the neutral and live wires through it simultaneously.
Q2: Does the current transformer need to be adjusted according to the direction of current flow?
A2: Not at all. This product is very user-friendly.
Q3: what is the inner diameter of the split core CT?
A3: It's approximately 0.5 inches wide, which accommodates the vast majority of wire diameters that meet AWG specifications.
Q4: Can the wiring of the current transformer be extended?
A4: It's not recommended to extend the wiring. When the current transformer's wire length exceeds 50 centimeters, it significantly reduces accuracy.
Q5: How long are the leads between the unit and the split transformer inductive pickup?
A5: About 22 cm (8.6 inches). You can extend the line longer, but do not exceed 50 cm (19.6 inches). Too long will cause the accuracy to decrease.
