Pros: Precise, smooth, very comfortable (I have wide hands and shorter fingers).
Cons: Not really a con, because I don't mind: left and right clicks are noticeably loud. I prefer my keyboard and mouse to have that old-fashioned click of yesteryear's keyboards and mice.
Overall Review: The left click is a bit more smoother than the right click, which is what usually happens when the mouse has been used for a while; however, the mouse is new (as best as I can tell), so maybe it's just an aesthetic built into the mouse.
Pros: The mouse works just fine. Good tracking, responsive scroll wheel.
Cons: Of the dozens and dozens of mice I have used over the last two decades, this mouse has the absolute loudest clicking sound I have experienced. It is so loud it would be distracting to anyone else in the room with you.
Overall Review: If you were buried under rubble, it would make an excellent signaling device to alert rescuers.
Pros: It works well enough in an emergency.
Cons: this is a cheap-o version of the older mouse models, something I did not expect from Microsoft. flimsy plastic, cheap, noisy buttons, and it feels like a two-dollar mouse, looks like a two-dollar mouse, works and sounds like one, and, guess what, it really is a two-dollar mouse dressed up and marked up to 16 bucks. A real rip-off. I would send it back, but it isn't worth the trouble, which I suppose is Microsoft's plan on producing these two-dollar mice. So sorry I bought this mouse. Never again.
Pros: What I like: 1- PS2 to USB adapter included 2- Quick Premier processing/shipping 3- Great Newegg packaging unlike Amazone 4- Long enough cable for most situations 5- Plug n play on Windows & Linux 6- Light colored scroll wheel making it more noticeable/user friendly
Cons: What I dislike: 1- New, but OEM (in brown box) 2- The ridiculously small font with included Microsoft literature 3- Left/right buttons do not have that secure click to them
Overall Review: I deducted one egg over the above listed dislikes. It is great for basic home use & a bargain at the price I paid too.
Pros: Simple mouse design, good feel in hand, button are responsive, wheel works great
Cons: none really
Overall Review: Some reviews mentioned getting cheaper versions, these appears to be legit Microsoft mice. Bought 10+ over the last year for the basic office mouse.
Pros: again what I wanted a white wired mouse works great as it should
Cons: none
Pros: It's cheap. It works.
Cons: The scroll wheel does click. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, depending on what you're using it for.
Overall Review: I got two of them to replace to aging mice that were malfunctioning in one way or another. They work well.
Pros: Microsoft? Plug and Play, other than that.....None.
Cons: Don't waste your money. Small for Average Hand, and feels like a Notebook Mouse. Scroll Wheel Sticks and is Rough Turning, not to mention it's too slipery or smooth. Very, Very "CHEAP" made for an MS Mouse, Loud Clicks that don't always respond, especially for $20.00. After writing this, I'm calling for RMA.
Overall Review: I remember when $20.00 got you a decent USB Wired Optical Mouse from Microsoft. I guess those days are gone. You shouldn't have to pay $30.00 to $40.00 to get a good Microsoft Optical Mouse. The one this Mouse replaces is a Microsoft Optical USB Wired Mouse I've had for almost five years without any problems. The Left Button was getting to be unresponsive so I went to Newegg, as usual, for a replacement.
