Ac adapter comes with Surface Pro but docking station with its power adapter is an option.

Yes, a power cable is attached to the dock so you can charge your surface ang power any attached USB that are being used.

I do not know.  It works with pro 4.  Look at the power plug if same as 4 I would assume so as 8t connects using power

I assume the Surface connect cable comes with the Surface Book?  And probably need to purchase mini display to HDMI adapter as well?

Sorry I can not answer this question for you.  This was purchased for another office within our agency and I do not know what came with it.
