The ScanMaker 5950 Pro offers the best of both worlds: a fast office document scanner and a flatbed photo scanner all in one compact footprint. Its 50-page automatic document feeder has a scan speed of seven pages per minute for B&W and three pages per minute for color. The scanner is capable of creating high-resolution images thanks to six rows of charge-coupled device (CCD) sensors with scans up to 2,400dpi and true 48-bit depth.

Eight Smart Touch buttons on the scanner front panel automate frequently performed tasks: Scan, Print, OCR, E-mail, Scan to Web, Setup/Cancel, Custom, and Power. An advanced OCR software package includes Nuance PaperPort SE document management software and ABBYY FineReader Sprint OCR software.

Out of the box, you'll be able to start clearing up desktop paper clutter and transforming all your documents into editable digital formats. Setup is easy requiring nothing more than plugging in the included power adapter and connecting the scanner via a high-speed USB 2.0 cable (also included).
