A set of 41,300-element tri-linear CCD sensors provides improved color reproduction with true 48-bit depth and resolutions up to 4800x9600 dpi for finer details and sharper text. The EZ-Lock film holders with spring-actuated tension grips hold film perfectly flat for precise alignment and consistent scan results. The film holders accommodate 35mm slides, 35mm filmstrips, 4x5-inch film, and medium format film up to 6x17cm panoramic images.

The stylish and functional housing design features a solid build and provides a stable base for quality image scans. Eight Smart Touch buttons on the scanner front panel automate frequently performed tasks: Scan with ICE, Scan, Print, E-mail, Scan to PDF, Custom, and Power.
