Does this case come with the blue fans that it says in the description?

Yes , it does . This case is too small get the lager one This is a mid tower case If I had it to do over I would get the larger case

I was just wondering about the airflow for the front fans on this case. It looks like, with the hard drive cages installed in perpendicular configuration (hard drive ends facing the sides of the case), that the hard drive cage walls block A LOT of the airflow of the two front fans (the mesh doesn't look that big at all). My question is this, can you turn the hard drive cages parallel and leave the open ends of the cage facing the front fans for better air flow? Or, can you remove the cages entirely and still have the front fans attached the same way for maximum air flow?

I appreciate all of your answers and help in this matter. However, I am still un-clear on the layout of the case. I have looked at many reviews, and know that you can remove the hard drive cage walls (the double thick mounting walls, that seem to me would restrict air flow). I also understand that these walls are modular...allowing you to have the drive cage walls facing the front and back of the tower, or the sides of the tower. I do not plan on using any liquid cooling, so I would like lots and lots of air flow. So, that being said, my questions are:

1. If the drive cage walls are removed (lets just say, I removed all of them to leave the case TOTALLY open), would I still be able to mount the two 120mm fans to the fron't of the case? OR, do the fans mount TO the drive cage walls?

2. If the drive cage walls are turned, so that the drive cage walls are facing the sides of the case (as opposed to the fron't and back as in the manufacturers configuration) would I still be able to mount the two front fans.

Basically, I want to make this case work. The only fancy things I have on my system is a R9 280X and a Zalman 9900MAX 135mm cpu cooler. I like the looks of this case, and it isn't as much as the Cosmos 2. So, it could be exactly what I am looking for...but at 160 dollars, what makes it better then the 3 year old Antec 1200, which has 3 fron't fans, 2 rear fans, and 1 200mm top fan? Will this case be able to keep up in the cooling department? Are all those extra fans on the Antec just for looks? My current case keeps my CPU at 38-42C...how will this one do? What do I do!?!?!?!? What is the maximum GPU size for this case?

Not sure, but I have 2 msi r9 870x graphics cards and a liquid cooling system in there and have plenty of room. The hdd slots at the front of the case can be removed so I imagine that would open up some space for larger cards. There are mounts for ssd inbetween the rear panel and framework. That's where I have mounted mine at. 
 Hope this was helpful for you, I am very happy with mine. It's still cool, and easily modified.

Is this full tower or mid tower case? Cosmos SE is sorted as mid tower case on the coolermaster site. There is only one version of this case on newegg which is this. if this is full tower where is new mid tower version of this case?

Hello after I got the case it is more a mid tower size than full it's sort of in between.  The only problem you might have is your video card i'm running a GTX-670 and nothing needed removed but the power connectors are on the side.  If the card is longer than a 670 then a section of the bays will need removed.  I really like the case except the HUGE leds for the HD's it's the white 3 inch long line above the 3 front bays. The panels that hold HDDs are removable. So you could add a GPU up to 15 inches long the problem is, the Tower is only 9.5 inches wide. If the GPUs dimensions are 15.9X3.5X9.3, then no it won't fit. That is one beefy GPU.

I am wondering if an ATX Extended will fit in this case? I can't seem to see any cases that specifically say that they will or will not. Thank you. The specific one I am looking at is this one: ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition

Hi Drew,

Unfortunately, the Cosmos SE will not support an E-ATX mobo. I have a Sabertooth Z87 (a hefty ATX) in mine and it fits just perfectly. The right side covers a portion of It's dedicated grommets but the bottom holes/grommets are just underneath my mobo. This being said, I would say an E-ATX is not ideal as it is even larger. I hope this helps and if you would like any suggestions, a components compatibility check, or any help for that matter, I'd be happy to help.

I'm planning on this case and this graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121779 The card is 11.3" long and the case specs say 10.6 but up to 15" without the HDD bracket. Can you provide me a little more detail on this? Can I remove just one of the HDD cages to allow my card to fit or does removing the "bracket" mean sacrificing all the HDD cages? I plan on having dual SSDs (Raid 1) for system and one 2TB HD for data. Thanks

I recently bought the EVGA GTX780 and came across the same situation.  I have removed the lower 2 HDD cages for 2 reasons:. 1) I needed the room to install the graphics card, however the cage wouldn't interfere if I would re install it. 2) but more importantly the 2 lower cages block the front fans, so taking the lower cages off increases air flow. I leave only the upper cage in which can hold 2 hard drives easily.

This case for me was a big upgrade from the mid tower I had.  I am plaesed with the results and with some liquid cooling, playing AC4 black flag keeps me around 45 celsius.

Can this case fit fit X2 GTX 780ti's and support the coolmaster nepton 280L?

I have one GTX 780 in the case it is a tight fit if you are also going to have several HDD's. I had to remove a section of HDD holders. I am going to say that two will not fit very well unless you take HDD racks out of the case.

That being said the case is great and can be modified to fit most things.

i am upgrading case on my alienware x51, needing to know if my motherboard will fit in this case?

I am unfamiliar with the Alienware motherboard.  In prior years, Dell made components that did not fit industry standards to ensure you had to purchase replacement parts from them.  Since Alienware is owned by Dell, my bet would be against the board fitting in any standard ATX chassis.
