Question 1

What is the actual height of this case? Lots of listed specs can be misleading, is it actually under 18 inches? Need to know because the cabinet I am putting it in is limited to 18 inches in height.

Is there a motherboard reset button on this case?  Thanks.

Yes - the power button is lighted and about 3/4" diameter.  Just above and to the left is a small reset button about 1/4" diameter.  It's pretty hard to hit accidentally, which I think is the correct choice.

Question 3

I saw a review stating the top fans interfere with any motherboard. I see the top fans are shifted to the left side of the case -- it appears the fans would not impact the motherboard. Am I wrong? Or does the motherboard mount so high the motherboard is behind the fans.

If you choose to install top fans, I think this could definitely be a concern. It will really just depend on the motherboard. The motherboard does mount high, such that, I'm pretty sure, the edge of the motherboard will be behind the fans. This should not be a problem as long as the motherboard doesn't have connectors or large heatsinks at the very top. For my build with this case, I chose not to install top fans, so that's obviously one solution (I did have connectors at the very top). I would just weigh your options. This is a great case, and I really enjoyed building a computer with it. However, if top case fans are a must for you, pay attention to the motherboard layout to make sure there won't be conflicts. Will a EVGA Supernova 750 G5 PSU fit this case?

I can't guarantee but I would 100% expect it to.
I am running the case with an EVGA Supernova 750 G2 power supply, which from what I can tell is the same standard size.

Question 5

The specs say that the N400 NSE-400-KKN2 case comes with a filter on the inside at the top grille. Since this is presumably an air exit vent, why would they put an interior filter there? If I had this case, I would remove this top filter rather than try to keep it clean.

My case has a mesh filter with two 4 inch fans in the top. I took a flashlight and the filter has no dust at all in the filter.  I have a total of 4 fans in my case and no dust anywhere at all inside the case after 2 years of service.  I've used Cooler Master cases for many years and never had a problem. My unit is loaded with 5 drives, 2 DVD's, Video card and sound card, and a 1200  Power Supply,etc.  Don't think you will find a need to remove or clean the filter if you put 2 4 inch fans in the top of the case. Because it can accommodate a 240mm radiator in the front, would it be right to assume it will support a 120mm in that same spot?

Yes it can support a 120MM radiator in the front but at the expense of both front fans since the 120mm radiator is still bigger than one fan. I have 2 120mm radiators in this case, I put one on the right side and one on the back so I still have two fans on the front. Optimally you want the front fans bringing air into the case and the radiator on the back and the right pushing hot air out of the case. I have an additional 120mm fan on the side panel bringing air into the case. Hope this helps

Optical Drives?

The facia-plate snaps off easily and the drive-panels can be easily removed from it.  The installed fan has its cabled pinned under the screwed-down front-power buttons, but that's two screws to be removed, and this fan can easily be removed and/or added to, then the button-panel can be screwed back down.  This is one of the great cases for front-assembly work.

Will this fit Corsair H100i ?

I have that exact cooler from Corsair and can confirm it will fit. I had to put the fans behind the secondary panel but it fits.

What kind of power supply would I need for this?

Standard ATX with 120mm or 140mm Fan on the bottom of the power supply. You could use a normal ATX with the fan on the back of the PSU but you wouldn't be using the cases bottom vents for the PSU.
