Does this include a VESA mounting bracket?

Yes, it includes the bracket and screws. FYI - I love this NUC so far. Bought it back at launch in Feb. 2016, and Intel has continued to improve performance across the board with BIOS and driver updates. It's a rock solid system now.

remote keyboard app compatiable?

It depends on the keyboard and operating system. I have used a Linksys, and two RII models. Both had usb dongles. Since there is no PS/2 port usb is the only port available for keyboards. BTW one keyboard has an integrated track pad. It works great. I happen to use Linux but I'm certain it'll support Windows. If there is Bluetooth in the Nuc then those keyboards are sketchy and I would avoid them.

Question 3

I have a Barebone BOXNUC6I5SYK and try to install OS (Win 7 Pro ) from DVD.  When access  Win 7 install , the unit USB port lost function, the Keyboard and Mouse can not work.  So I can not make any selection and can't do the next.  Anyone can help me ?

which hard drives are compatible?

I have a Samsung 950 Pro in mine. There is no spot for a 2.5" SATA drive in this model, so it has to be of the M.2 variety. I *think* it can be either SATA-based or PCIe M.2, and of course it is fully compatible with the NVMe format since that is what the 950 Pro is. I can tell you on mine at least, cold boot times are below 9 seconds :)
