Would this power supply be compatible with a AMD FX 8320?
Also, would it support a gtx 660 2gb graphics card?

Hi, Drew.
I have the 600W, and have the 560ti Card, which runs excellent on this PS.
To check the power req's for gtx 660 google "gtx 660 specs" or go to GeForces main website.

In your case, Minimum System Power Requirement (for the whole Computer) is 450W for this specific card.  Depending on how many fans you have, and if you have an enclosed water cooling on your CPU, and what not - 550W should be plenty for your rig (as a rule of thumb, i add 20% on top of minimum requirements, and try to buy a power supply which is 50-100W over).  However, if you are planing on running two video cards (Crossfire or SLI) 600W PS is probably on the border line, since each one requires 140W (in your case).
Main advice - look at the specs and go a little over, and don't forget to plan for the future upgrades.

Question 2

Will this support EVGA Geforce gtx 770? I know the card requires a 6 pin and a 8 pin, but the description for this psu states it has 1 x 6-Pin, 1 x 6+2-Pin. Does that mean the 1 x 6+2 pin can be used a 8 pin?

I use it on gtx460 and 560ti which require two pci-6 (6wires). The two wires on detachable connector are not used. i don't know if it can be used on gtx670. as it packed from factory, the 8-pin pci connectors (6+2) are put together as one connector.

on the ocz ps, i bought 5 and gave away one. all 4 are still working and they are very quiet, much quieter than my cpu fans. two of the 4 works over 4 years. i don't have equipment to test on other features it lists like performance and efficiency. i prefer ocz ps's.

Yes it would I would buy some cable extenders because the CPU header is a little short and won't reach the top if u run it thought the back but if u dont mind having it go across the graphics card that it would be fine

I know this power supply is compatible with AMD phenom, but is it compatible with AMD phenom 2?

Yes this P/S is compatible with the AMD Phenom 2 series processors.  The CPU, any CPU, does not necessarily need to be compatible with any power supply, you just need to be sure that the selected power supply comes with the right connectors for your motherboard and components and can reliably output enough power to satisfy the draw of your system.  This power supply has worked flawlessly for me and should have the right connectors for most basic computers.

Based on my estimate, I think it should fit but tight. But unless you want to add a video card and really need 600W, or you like a modular PSU, a Corsair CX430 or CX500 should fit better.

I have this PSU and am considering upgrading to an NVidia GTX 760 GPU but they recommend a +12V rail with 30A power rating, this one only has 25. How much of a negative impact would this have on performance, or would it just not be compatible at all?

The amperage rating is based off the voltage of the psu you would need at least a 750 watt to get 30 amps per rail.  I would recommend you get one with at least that amount it will cause a performance decrease. Another caution is that without enough current the card could send a low power error to windows and cause graphics to freeze.

Although technically not a slot, it does include plugs for 2 PCI power cords that are included - they have red ends: 1x 6+2-Pin, 1x 6-Pin.   The 6+2 pin cord is one of those plugs that can be used as a 6-pin or 8-pin connector to a graphics card.
