Hello. I have Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR2 2006 television. I am connecting two other newer TVs to a Switch Box to work in multiple rooms. I have bought two damn switch boxes Ver.1.3 and Ver.1.4. The two newer TVs work through the box but my old Sony does not, I believe it has a HDMI Ver.1.2 ports. Will this device allow to connect to my Sony HDMI port and then connect into either of the switch boxes and make it all work properly? I'm tired of buying equipment that doesn't work. I believe that it will.  The only problem I had was that the VGA did not work correctly.  My monitor was a true VGA and this device does not have true VGA conversion from digital.  It works fine converting to any other digital output.
