Is the CH Monte|AIR 903 MAX (B) R case easy to assemble for a beginner?

It was very straight forward to build in. There's a ton of room, this case is considered a mid tower but can fit any size motherboard. There's also a small hub on the side that connects all the fans into one place. This makes it very easy to connect the fans to the motherboard. Overall, a fun experience to build in.

Does this case really have space for 5 3.5 hard drives? or are the specs wrong?

You have space for 5×2.5inch drives however, if you have Velcro, you could fit an extra two behind the motherboard. There’s also room for 2×3.5 drives next to the power supply below.

Is this case compatible with back connect motherboards?

I wouldn't recommend it. I remember feeling like the back was a tight fit for my cables.

Does this case have a space for a DVD drive?

No, it's not built to add a DVD drive to.
