Could I have the Bios updated to the newest version before it is shipped to me? I plan to use a Ryzen 5 3600 and do not have a 1st or 2nd gen ryzen chip laying around to the flash myself.

Ryzen 3rd generation is not supported at all on this board. If you find a board and run into the same problem, AMD has their own "Loan a CPU" program as a part of the warranty so you can set it up. Go to the AMD site, search "Unable to Boot" in the top right search tab, and then it's the first line. But again to clarify, you CANNOT use 3rd gen ryzen on this board.
