Pros: This card absolutely blew me away! I was using a friends 7800GT until I was able to upgrade to something better and this card is it. My 3D Mark score shot up 8,000 points and that’s saying something for my outdated system! I’m looking forward to really putting this thing through its paces and of course seeing my game collection in new detail :) If you are looking for an awesome video card in the sub $200 range look no farther...just click the "add to cart" button and get it over with!! Of course Newegg rocks... been with them for years never had any problems!
Cons: None!!
Overall Review: Had an issue with my Soundblaster Audigy2 cutting out after I installed, but I don’t blame this card so much as I blame my 2 year old system…. Time to finish upgrading!!
Pros: Easy to install, includes HDMI converter, and it's quiet after it starts up and settles in. Oh, and its OVERCLOCKED from the factory so you dont have to; but, just in case you feel "the need for speed" you can use the installed control pannel to nudge it up a bit more...
Cons: Hmmm.... Well, I'm thinking... Will have to get back to you on that one... That is if I find anything...
Overall Review: Be prepared for the stares of envy from you friends when you unveil this monster. It definately lives up to the hype and then some. I am Running a Phenom 9500 on a Gigabyte MA790X DS4 board with 3GB of Corsair 667 RAM, WD 150 GB Raptor drive, with Windows XP and the 9600 GT video card, and it scored 10,653 on Futuremark 6 (the XFX 8800GTS 320 it replaced scored 10,487). Once you have it installed, head for Nvidia.com to get the laters driver...
Pros: - Sleek design - Low operating temp - Factory overclock - HDMI adapter - Awesome price
Cons: - Not free - Tools on cd aren't that good at all
Overall Review: I purchased two of these cards and threw em in my Asus P5n72-t. I'm using them with an Intel C2Q 6600 and they work AMAZING. I can play pretty much any game on max settings at 1280x1024 resolution. I highly suggest this card to ANYONE who is looking for great performance for little cost.
Pros: If you arent into benchmarks this is the card for you. I own this and a 8800GT with the exact setup running res at 1680 + there is only 5fps diffence in some games to my suprise it beats the 8800 gt in a few. It also runs cooler thanks to the two slot cooler and power consumption of the new core so that equals less noise from the fans. Really hard to beat for the price/performance.
Cons: none
Overall Review: buy another to run SLI
Pros: Price for performance. DVI to HDMI out. Cooler is basically silent. Has an audio header so that HDMI out will be full featured.
Cons: Audio header is partially blocked by plastic shroud. Shroud seems to have no function. It has so many holes and spaces the only benefit might be increased turbulence. Very large card and heatsink. Almost 3" longer than my old 8500 and 6600 cards. Keep in mind this card has a 6-pin power header.
Overall Review: This product replaced a 256mb 8500gt. 3d mark scores went from 2400 to 11500. I used to play Oblivion at 960X600, all settings medium, at about 45 fps. Now I play at 1650x1050, all settings Very high at 60 fps (dips to 30 when loading new areas, but that is not the card's fault). All of this is with hi-res textures (Quarl's and LOD upgrade mods and OOO). Other components: Q6600 @ 3.0 ghz 2 gb DDR2-800 kingston ram 500 gb WD HD Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Pros: I just built my first system and rather than salvage my 7600 GT XXX from my old unit I opted to install a new GPU. I'm very happy I did. $174 with a $20 rebate for this? My 7600 was/is quality hardware, but she could not run Flight Sim X like this one can. I increased the slider power up considerably and this can hit 45 fps and pretty much stay there. In addition, I'm running the Intel E4500 CPU, still at stock 2.2 Ghz, not even overclocked yet. Furthermore, the image quality on this card is exceptionally adequate. It was great deal for a great card.
Cons: What cons for $ 154??????
Overall Review: I have heard and read many good things about MSI. My eye will be focused on their products for a while. Also, this was my first purchase from New Egg. I'll be using them again too - Right On!! Good deal all around.
Pros: This card is great for gaming at less than 1900x resolution. Great replacement for my 7900GS. Low power requirements, low noise, and low temperatures are all pretty good assets. The MSI fan is a very nice addition, and a reason to consider this card. Good choice for low cost SLI setups too. Once you get to higher resolution monitors or gaming, you might want to look at the new 8800's. I'm getting much higher frame rates with graphics set much higher. Stalker, CoH, CoD, all cranked up. Oblivion looks even nicer, though still as vapid. This card really works well solo with mid-range systems.
Cons: Not as powerful as the 8000GT/GTS. Those cards may have more headroom to be tweaked up in performance.
Overall Review: My main game happens to work better with Nvidia than Ati, if that's not the case for you, this should be compared to the ATI 3870s. Might want to check to see if prices drop further in the next month. NewEgg service on this and previous orders has been very good for me, and justified my continuing patronage.
Pros: A very nice upgrade from a 8600gts went from 5000~ in 3dmark to 8000~. Runs crysis (64bit version) at 1400x1050 with many settings on high not sure the fps but its relativly smooth and looks amazing. The heatsink does a good job and doesn't make much noise*
Cons: It's what the 8600 line of cards should of been. *The fan goes fullspeed when the computer is booting up and sounds like a jet, however its very quiet once the computer is booted up and doesn't make much noise during games. The card is very long and could be an issue in some cases
Overall Review: This was part of an overall upgrade so I took down some 3d mark scores. CPu AMD64x2 5000 -old 8600gts 256M, 2gigs of ram vista 32bit 5419 3dmark -thiscard 9600gt 3.3gigs of ram detected vista 32bit 8095 3dmark -with vista64 6 gigs of ram, 8323 3dmark.
