my HP compag is only 4 inchs wide   or tall, will this low profile vidio card fit,? 
I bought one already that claims its low profile but the mounting bracket is to tall, about 5 inchs.

If the card that you bought says that it is low profile (does it look like this picture?) then all you need is low profile brackets that have the correct configurations for the video out you want to use. Not all low profile cards come with conversion brackets included in the package (which never made sense to me.) You can purchase them from most any computer outlet for a few dollars. Using one and you lose the VGA out (see ribbon cable.) The second lets you move the VGA one slot over. It is just a matter of removing the standoffs, replacing the bracket and screwing them back in. A second low profile bracket would just have a cutout for the VGA. This card does come with the short brackets (ask Newegg before purchasing) but I am just trying to save you some cash.

Can I connect a VGA, the blue colored connector, to this graphics card?

I see one person said this card did not come with the small form factor brackets.  Was this a mistake or does it truly not come with them?

Hi, I bought two of these cards and both came with the small form factor brackets. I installed them in an HP 8300 and the other in an HP 8200. They work as a sharm. There is a new driver for windows 10 that you can get in the internet as well; easy to install. Great card, unbeatable price!
