What is the RPM of the radiator fan?

My radiator fan was VERY loud, so like many people who own this card, the first thing I did was rip it out and toss it in the trash. Replacing it with a 120mm silentwings 3 is practically mandatory as far as I'm concerned. Obviously when it's replaced, you can control its speed off either the motherboard bios or your case's fan controller. All my case fans idle at around 800-850 rpm. The noise and thermal throttling are practically non-existent, even under full load.

can someone please tell me the length of the lines. I dont want to be the card if the lines arent long enough to mount the radiator in a full size case?

the card is engineered with a cable length generosity sufficient for top mounting in a large case. mine is housed in a silent base 801 mid tower case. exact hose measurement would place it at greater than 8 inches. the real issue for rear mounting that radiator is simply that the distance from the rear of the card to where the hoses attach is as much as 6 inches in and of itself. so.. ideally you'd top mount this with little hassle. but i would NOT recommend using 2 of these and attempting to top mount those. that would be an immense hassle and possibly a twisted nightmare on so many levels i don't want even want to think about it. if you go on the pcpartpicker com website, the url extension for my completed build is /b/NrXPxr

Question 4

I'm hearing some weird dripping noise from the radiator of the graphics card. Is that normal? I don't see any water anywhere inside my case but the dripping noise is really concerning. Any ideas to stop the noise or is it fine as is? Thanks

. I didn’t end up buying this card, as I went with the trio, but if there is no fluid leaking, I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s probably the pump.

Has anyone run SLI on this card?

Before I bought this card, I had 2 980 TIs in SLI, and it drove me nuts. There's more hassle involved in trying to get it to work than people realize. Most games seem to not support it, so you're constantly running tests on every game, and playing with settings only to have all of them reset whenever your drivers update. All the money and effort you invest into SLI is better spent on reducing fan noise in my opinion.

Anyone know where you can find a PWM adaptor to replace the radiator fan with on that is quieter and matches the rest of my case fans?

Not sure what you need an adaptor for. I replaced the fan on mine. Just clip the cable ties, then it's plug n play. Use a PWM fan, i.e. 4-pin.

Is it loud, as any same card with turbine?

I use mine in an HTPC and I have no noise complaints. I think the low-end RPMs of the blower fan are a bit low, actually.

Has anyone compared the perfomance of the sea hawk x against the gaming x trio and if so have you noticed any significant difference in the perfomance?

The key to good journalism deals with gathering decent leads, following them, and then developing independent strategies for processing all the raw data into something that makes objective, rational sense in terms of what can be explicitly measured as both accurate and fair. This takes a lot of time and interest, both of which have expired for myself and probably anyone else receiving this question. If you're shelling out 900+ dollars for a fancy new gaming rig.. you should be able to care enough to dive into the sea of technical specs out there and see if you can't haul in a few pounds of crab meat.. on your own terms. Which direction does the fan blow? Pushing into the radiator or pulling out of? Or is this something that could be adjusted?

it's set to push air out (through the radiator) when you buy it, if you want to pull the air through, just undo the screws and flip the fan around. It's super easy, even if you've never done it before.
