Question 1

is the power connector 6 pin or 8 pin? Is it factory overclocked, or does the "OC" in the title mean it is optimized for Overclocking?

It uses a 6 pin PCI-e power connector. The OC stands for Overclocked. It has a base core clock of 1178MHz while the reference model is 1127Mhz. The boost clock of this card is 1241MHz versus 1178MHz reference, however, memory hasn't been overclocked. . You should be able to push this a little over the factory clocks.

Question 2

Would this run safely with a 520W PSU? I've seen mixed answers, so I just want to be sure before going ahead with a purchase. Thanks!

Yes would be fine. Nvidia cards have a great reputation for low power consumption, I have a 530 and I overclock my card with now power issues so you would have no running this card. Plans to sli yes you would then need around a 650 or 700 but you will be fine running one card.

Will this work with windows 10?

Yup. I've had no issues with it and windows 10.

For anyone that already has the card and is upgrading to Windows 10 I recommend doing a clean install after upgrading.

Will this be powerful enough to play Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain on high settings?

The short answer is yes, this graphics card will play the Metal Gear game quite well. However, to see if you can run the game with your current settings, you can go to a website such as Game Debate in order to see if your computer is up to par. There may be other limiting factors, such as processor power or RAM.

is this card restricted to any kind of computer case? for size reasons.
cuz i just bought one but im afraid it won't fit

I have a Bitfenix Prodigy m and it fits fine at the top of my case. You will need two slots on the back of your case, one for the hdmi and display port connections, and one for the dvi and vent. Other than that, you should be able to fit it in just about any case. Here is a ink to the case I have. The card is about the size of the black vent on top, roughly 11-1/4" x 5-1/8" x 2" (LxWxH). I've read up on your board and you have 2 pci 16 slots so yes this card will be fine with your board as long as you have a 500 watt or greater psu you will be fine.

Does the video card come with a utility driver that regulates the GPU fan speed based on GPU temperature?

You can get very specific with the temperature controls/fan speeds/etc with MSI Afterburner (installed separately from the driver, I believe) but I found no use for it because this particular card stays cool under load.  If you're interested, look up Afterburner and see if it has the controls you're looking for.

The standard driver regulates the card's temperature quite well automatically--for basic desktop tasks, the fans don't even need to spin at all.  I haven't been in the GPU game very long, but this is the first card I've ever had that has fans at 0% the majority of the time.  Quite incredible for lowering power usage.

Question 9

If i want to game on a triple monitor setup, say BenQ 24" monitors. Would this be able to run the game on high graphics? If not, would buying two of these make that a possibility? Or should i just go for a better graphics card?

it depends the game you want to play and the resolution, so it will but if is a graphics intensive game I definey doubt that, if you want to go that way you definetly need a higher model and at least 2 cards
if is an old game from 5 years ago... you probably be fine with this card IMO
