Pros: - Cheap - Built better than the other bottom tiered boards - fits in my one off case
Cons: Not really anything I can think of, for a bottom tier board, there's nothing about this that falls short. This board being built for budget gaming, seems like it's the better of the bottom tiered boards, or I've been had.
Overall Review: This seemed like an excellent budget board with no unnecessary bells and whistles. I seated a ryzen 5 3500x into there, with two sticks of t-force 4gb sticks of 2800mhz RAM for a total of 8gb, and a GTX 1650 super. I have the OS on a 512gb t-force cardea Z330 nvme drive, and a 6tb WD black game drive and it flies. I can play halo 4 on enhanced graphics settings just fine without any hiccups. I bought this board specifically, because the case that I have is a one off type case built for industrial application to have a vintage industrial look, and a standard size mATX board is too wide, so this board with the narrow dimension was about the only thing that would work, and fits as though the chassis was designed for this board specifically. I'm currently waiting on the B550 version of this board to come to the US so I can swap everything over to take advantage of pci-e gen 4. Eventually I will be upgrading to a ryzen 7 5800x with an RTX 3080 Ti once it's released, and can be had at MSRP. I refuse to buy from scalpers. I would go for an R9 5950x, but the albeit compact case means my thermal solutions are limited. I could probably get away with a 5900x, but likely just barely, as I don't think the power chokes on a budge board like the B550m Vector would be able to keep up, which means leaving performance on the table. I don't know, but it does make for a fantastic sleeper build.
