Pros: - quiet
- good power output
- sleek design
- lots of modular cables and a nice bag to store them in.
- cables are aesthetic.
Cons: - manual is less useful than a floppy disc burner
- the 24 pin power connector is a pain to plug into the PSU itself
- the 24 pin power connector would look better if the wires were all held together rather than running in two parallel strands.
- hard to caple manage; these wires thicc.
Overall Review: great PSU for the price point, just a few features to tweak for the future.
Pros: -works like a normal power supply
-80+ gold
-silent fans
Cons: -cables that come with it are a pain to work with and are very stiff this makes it very hard to cable manage
-They are not braided cables which is a shame at this price point.
-cables are SUPER hard to insert into required places (24 pin connector) and are even harder to get out.
Overall Review: -would recommend if you buy this to get new 30 series cards, but not otherwise.
Pros: Modular cables clearly marked.
many different mounting options
Nice little canvas bag with Velcro to keep the spare cables in!
Cons: does not come with an 8+4 CPU_1 CPU_2 cable Must buy an adaptor if you plan on major overclocking.
Which I do not plan on doing (yet.) I just do not like open sockets on my mobo.
Overall Review: Very nice P/S has some weight to it and a large cooling fan (not pictured)
External Mains power switch as well.
so far its very quiet and is working great!
Pros: Nice Design
Sleek
Connections
Power
Accessories
Cons: None
Overall Review: So far this PSU is working as it's suppose to. I like the design and love most of all MSI's products to be honest. I like how you can connect only what you need to on the PSU for the board or your peripherals or etc. The carrying bag is a nice touch, I mean I highly doubt I'll be using the carrying bag to literally travel with the PSU but it's nice to put all the unused cords inside the bag, as well as other items. That's basically what I'm using the bag for. I also love the color of the actual cords, which is black. Definitely a good purchase in my opinion.
Pretty good, with one complaint3/31/2021 8:04:19 PM
Pros: -Good price.-Good quality.-Nice packaging with more cables than I could ever need.-Modular PSUs definitely help cut down on clutter.
Cons: -Cables are absurdly stiff, had to move a hard drive that was positioned behind my old power supply and swap two drive bays to insert SATA cables everywhere they were needed.
Overall Review: Other than the one complaint about cables being painfully stiff, I'd recommend this power supply. It worked out in the end, but was just a bit of a hassle to get everything plugged in properly. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade in preparation of a new GPU over the old bronze-rated 500W supply I had installed.
Pros: It worked as intended.
Modular cables are really nice for keeping the case a bit more tidy.
Fan is really quiet from what I've experienced.
Cons: The cables are stiff, and difficult to maneuver.
Overall Review: Overall this is a solid product, however I feel a little disappointed with the cables that come with the unit. I really like the unit itself though.
(comes with a pigtailed PCI-e 6+2-pin, as well as 2 single PCI-e 6+2-pin cables.)
Simple Gamers Need Efficient Parts... This Can Be One1/7/2022 12:16:57 PM
Pros: -very efficient power
-for the cost to performance ratio, this is worth every dollar
-when I put in my new graphics card while my computer was running (thru my inexperience building a pc), my Power Supply did its job and shut itself down via the safety switch. The motherboard is gone but everything else is perfectly fine.
-much power
Cons: -very slight audibility during high load
-no sleeves
Overall Review: Revisiting after 8 years of use. Basically, the fan noise became noticeably louder during high loads or playing games but is fairly silent while doing web surfing or simple tasks. The power supply safety overcurrent switch did its job during a fateful event where a GPU was being Hotswapped (Not Doing That Again >w< ). This PSU is worth every penny but I will say It could be better.
