Question 1

Looking into getting this card in a few months, I have a Corsair GS-700 that has 2x 6+2 pins and 1x 8 pin should I be fine? Also it's 80+ certified and single 12V rail, I just want to ensure I will be able to plug and play with this card before I buy.

This card takes a single 6-pin and a single 8-pin connection as should be indicated by the newegg specifications... I'm using one 6+2 and a regular 6 into my card. I am also running an Earthwatts 650W PSU and it works just fine for me, so you'll be okay.

Question 2

I was wondering if I should even a bother buying this product with the repetitive cons from pro's and con's. Should I even bother purchasing this product in hopes that the issues will be fixed?

I have not experienced any noise from my card.  This card replaced an old HD 7970 that died.  I had been running the last card with a substantial overclock since the day it came out on a water cooled system.  This was a natural replacement for me since I already had a HD 7970 waterblock and this is a rebranded HD 7970 card at $250 off what I paid two years ago.  If you overclock, these should hit 1150Mhz without a problem.  There are only a few cards that are any better out there.  They are R9 290, R9 290x, GTX 780, Titan, and soon the GTX 780 Ti.  Three of these cards you can't get yet.  If you are looking dual gpu the GTX 690 and HD 7990 are faster too.  GTX 770 is about the same for $50+ more.  All I can say is it is a great card at a fair price, if your concerned about the possibility of fan noise, get water cooling.  You can always RMA if you have a problem too.  Depending on your budget and immediate need you could wait for the R9 290 which for $449 should be almost twice as fast.  Like any video card purchase you have to determine what your needs are and be aware within 6 months something much faster will be available at equal or lesser price.  If you use 1920x1200 resolution or less, this card will run everything at ultra settings at this point.  If you run higher resolutions or want to future proof yourself for next generation of games wait a month and spend more on the new R9 290, R9 290x or GTX 780Ti.  Hope this helps.

I'm seriously wondering if I should even bother buying this product because there is a continued in an coil whining. Should I buy this product in hopes the con is fixed?

I am currently running two of these in Crossfire and have yet to come across coil whine. If your case has proper air-flo, then you should be fine. Overclocking them to 1100Mhz  with MSi Afterburner and playing Battlefield 4 maxed settings does make the fans kick into a high setting with about 60-80% usage which is  noticeable decibel, but with gaming headphones or speakers at a reasonable level, you wouldn't hear it. Overall I am extremely happy with this buy, and if you are looking for one of the best single GPU cards in the enthusiast category, the 280x is the most bang for your buck.

Will a 600w PSU suffice for this card?

Best way to check is on Neweggs site. Click on Computer Hardware/Video Cards & Devices/Desktop Video. Once you've clicked Desktop Video link scroll down the page & look for "Which Power Supply Do I Need?" on the left side of the page. Under that heading look below the power supply icon & click "Click to Learn More" link & you can calculate the power you need based on all the components in your computer. I'm using a 650 watt Corsair/I-5 Lynfield/16gb ram/no optical drive/1 ssd drive/1 hard drive/MSI 280x graphics card & my system works very well - no power issues. Good luck.

Question 5

Does the fan spin in reverse for 30 secs like the hawk editions do?
I have a sound card that will go diretly under the fans and I don't want them spinning backwards damaging it overtime.

I don't believe so. I have MSI app's running and have set custom settings as far as temperature/fan speed are concerned. Nothing is stated or implied about reversing fan direction.

Also, the fan blades set just below the protective frame, this model is designed to with crossfire in mind, so stacking shouldn't be a problem.

I am currently running it with a Corsair CX430.  Here is my system configuration:

ECS H61H2-M2
Intel Celeron G550
PNY 4Gb DDR3 1333 MHz
WD 250 Gb 7200 RPM SATA HD

Total system draw from the wall measured with my Kill-a-watt meter is 348 W under full load.  I hope this helps.  I would think that the CX500 would have no problems in a single graphics card setup.  If you want to run them dual, I would recommend no smaller than the CX750.

This will run fine with a 500w psu right? I got the 270x for now cause these are out of stock but I really wanna upgrade so once these come back I'm planning to buy a 280x hopefully in the next 30 days.

A site called GameDebate recommends a PSU with at least 500 Watts for the R9 280X. However, it's important to factor in each component of your system to calculate reliable power requirements.

Can you research before you ask very vague questions?  Any video card will work on mother boards that fit pci express slot requirement.  Pcie3.0 will run as 2.0 on 2.0 cable board and cpu combo

a 3 way cross fire?! First of all your pc must be well ventilated. Second, You well using only 1 a person needs at least 700 to 800W but 3 well its safer with 1000W++

Is the voltage locked on this card or can it be undervolted? If so any particular software that you'd recommend?

Yes you can unlock this cards Voltage using the provided MSI Afterburner. Know that results will vary and the MSI R9 280x variant tends to sit about average for overclock compared to other brands,with the average being 1150/1650 MHZ for clock and memory, respectively. if you plan on overclocking, then get an ASUS for roughly the same price, dependng on the day. if you are willing to drop another 30-40 you can buy the Sapphire Toxic which has seen averages close to 1225-50/1700-1750. but int he end, that is only going to grab you an extra 3-4 fps on a high end game. the call is yours.
