Pros: Just received yesterday from Newegg and installed, replacing a 4 year old Radeon RX480. Put it into a newly built system with ASUS Prime x570 Pro, Ryzen 5800X, 32GB 3600 C16. Initial impressions: This thing is a beast, physically. Feels very large and heavy. If you compare to the RX480 it was replacing in the two pictures I posted, you can see the size difference. I am really liking the metal support bracket included with the card. See picture of the support bracket installed. I would be very worried about a horizontal installation of the hefty card just cantilevered off the end support and pci slot, if not for the support bracket. The RGB is about right to give some visual pop to the card, see pic. The Dragon Light software not only allows color and programs, but also brightness adjustment of the led strip. This is cool to get it to match the other RGB in my case, brightness wise. Got it running on latest ASUS Beta Bios 3402 with no trouble. Did quick A/B test in AC Valhalla benchmark to see if I got the advertised boost from enabling Smart Access Memory. It gave me an 11.6% fps boost on ultra settings in 3440x1440 ultrawide, from 77fps without SAM to 86fps with SAM. Just as shown in the youtube tests of others. Looking forward to more benchmarking and playing with this new setup, but the card looks like a big winner. Keep an eye on those discord and telegram alerts, and try your luck. After many failed efforts, I hit the jackpot and newegg had this bad boy in my hands 2 days later.
Cons: Edit 1: Duplicated the test in the critical review below, TimeSpy default settings. I saw: 2248Mhz/1650 rpm max/63 C core/85-91C junction temp. So I had much slower fan and yet much lower junction temp. This would seem to confirm the other reviewer's suspicion of a cooler problem with his card. I have not noticed the fans on my card ever spinning up to loud volume in any game play..
Overall Review: Highly recommend this product, and Newegg!
