Question 1

I am new to this stuff and wan to make sure I have the right parts for my iMac.  I know I need DDR2, PC2-5300 unbuffered, nonparity, 200-pin, 667MHz DDR@ SDRAM.  Will this product work??

It looks like you have the right match here. Just be sure that your iMac is able to use 4GB of memory. You may try to search for your iMac year and then type "max memory." Hope this helps.

Question 2

Would this product work on my early 2008 iMac that currently has 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory (2 slots - 1GB in each)? It runs OS X Lion 10.7.5 if important. Thanks! (I want to replace each slot with this 2GB one, totaling 4GB.)

I have a IMAC late 2006 and am running with 4 Gig 667MHz Mushkin SDRAM with Lion 10.7.5 with no problems. The system can not use all the memory because of the system limits. Make sure the speed is correct for you system and get the max memory you can pay for and your system will accept.

Yes, this should work. I don't have an iMac though, so can't speak from experience. Double-check what I read by looking up your model on Apple's support site to get the technical specifications sheet.

We put this memory into an even older MacBook 2.1, which is from 2006 or so. I think the later MB Pro's had DDR3, so this memory is the wrong kind for your MB Pro. 
Crucial has a memory finder on their site and there are some other finders out there from other makers. That's how i found the memory for our old Mac and then just looked it up on Newegg for better $.

I am not sure but I had 4 GB from OWC and my system had problems. My IMAC is 6,1. I install the Mushkin upgrade and ALL my problems when away. The sysem is running with Lion and performing well. Good luck. If you can put more memory on your system you should do it. If you had a MAC 6,1, I would say do it.

No. You want DDR3 1066, and you could get 4 x 4GB for a total of 16GB in that model. Check Apple's support site to double-check the technical specifications on your exact model.
