Pros: Great price
EPP SPD 4-3-3-10 2T @ 2.2V
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I bought this RAM to run in my new C2D 2.4GHz system with Vista 64 bit. Vista installed onto my 150GB Raptor in 25 minutes with absolutely no problems. My system is currently running at 3.5GHz (Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 board) with the RAM running fine at 875MHz (FSB 438, 8x multiplier). Have not tried to push the RAM further, and frankly I think this is fantastic RAM for the price. I was originally going to buy the Mushkin kit with the tighter default timings, but I'm glad I didn't. This is the same RAM AFAIK, but around $200 cheaper! =)
Pros: This memory is underrated. These modules have an EPP profile of 800mhz 4-3-3-10 2T @ 2.2 volts but there's no sign of that in the specifications. Even more impressive, they'll do 1T too at cas 4. Even more impressive than that, they do 5-5-5-15 30 2T @ 1066 (2.25 volts) on my MSI P6N Diamond (680i). And the price just blows me away. I guess they are rated conservatively to be JADEC compliant and widely compatible, but what a nice surprise to see a product drmatically outperform advertised specs.
Cons: I wish my iPhone delivered like Mushkin's ram.
Overall Review: Mushkin has a very responsive forum with actual representatives participating and providing expert product support.
Pros: Its stable at 1000mhz at 2.0 volts at 5-5-5-12.
Cons: Could not get it to run cas 4 at 800 or higher.
Overall Review: Mushkin forum support is very helpful!
Pros: Works well, keeps cool and gets the job done. Cheap. Reliable brand.
Cons: No qualms.
Overall Review: Windows XP only detects 3.2GB of the 4GB in the 32bit version, which you should note if you're in that boat. Don't be alarmed, it's not the RAM's fault.
Pros: For 4GB of RAM this was pretty cheap. Newegg right on top of things with their return policy.
Cons: One of the two chips was defective. Looking on the Mushkin support site, these are apparently also very limited as far as their overclocking abilities. (I'm not OC'ing but I read several negative comments from people who have tried).
Overall Review: I followed all the recommended testing procedures (forum sticky at Mushkin.com). I just got one bad chip. EVGA8800GT, GA-P35-DS3L, Q6600, WD150G(10K), WD640G(7200), Coolermaster CM690, and just ordered G.Skill 4GB DDR2-1066 to replace the Mushkin. I just probably got unlucky. Had decent experiences with Mushkin in the past.
Pros: I am running 4x 2GB with Vista 64-bit and a P5B-D. This memory is very solid and will run greater than PC2-6400. The memory I received was labeled 5-5-5-12. I tested 2 sticks for two days at the listed timing at 850 MHz with no errors. I then changed it to 5-5-5-18 with 4 sticks, just to be safe with stability.
Cons: My Motherboard does not support 16MBs of RAM :)
Overall Review: I have tested 4x2 8GBs with Prime95 for over 48 hours. I had no errors.
The Technical support forum is very good with fast responses and great information.
Pros: overclocks like a dream, better than i expected.
Cons: none yet, but will update.
Overall Review: on a crosshair board and a 6400x2, 4 sticks of this @2.2 volts is running at 1072 MHz quick and cool. 13x268=3484MHz,mem@1072MHz,not bad for 2 gig sticks!
Pros: Great heat spreading technology. Works like a charm, definitly worth every penny.
Cons: None I can think of, its Mushkin
Overall Review: I built my mom a pc and bought Mushkin memory. I put in 2 1GB sticks of Mushkin memory with the 32 bit Vista, works fast! I recently built my own pc and decided to go with 2 4GB sticks since I trust Mushkin and won't buy anything else when it comes to memory. GREAT PRODCUT!
