Pros: I bought two of these kits - 4 modules totaling 8GB of ram, and installed them in an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Motherboard. The modules were recognized and automatically set to run at 1333MHz. Didn't need to set voltages or anything. I ran Memtest86+ v4 and tested for 2 passes, and they're perfect.

Cons: None.

Pros: Um, yeah.

Cons: I have three sets of this RAM. Will not POST on three different AMD FM1 and FM2 mainboards (MSI and Gigabyte) with three different APUs. One stick, two sticks, cleared CMOS, tried different CMOS settings, teased with functional RAM and swapped, no joy. Traded out for G.Skill F3, Corsair Vengeance, and Kingston greenies, all work fine. Just not these Mushkins.

Overall Review: Too late to return to Newegg. I get to see how Mushkin treats their customers. The last thing I want is another three sets of these as replacements.

Pros: Works fine. Using in low-power pfsense setup, so I went with a single stick of low voltage ram. BIOS in cheap ASrock mobo didn't automatically select voltage/speed/timings, but manually configuring it all it's been running perfect this whole time.

Cons: Just feels expensive ($27) for being a single 2GB stick, but it's in-line with all the other DDR3 pricing so I can't really complain.

Pros: This is one of the fastest ram with standard specs!

Cons: none

Pros: Gives just as much real-world performance as super high-spec RAM while using less power and not needing giant heatsinks that would interfere with your CPU cooler. First kit passed memtest. This is the value sweet spot for X79.

Cons: none

Overall Review: RAM is cheap now, if you can use more than 8GB then maybe go for the 16GB kit just because you can. No games need anywhere near 8GB though so this kit is plenty for most builds.

Pros: Really fast and really inexpensive. SPD properly configures modules with all advertised specs, including timings and voltage.

Cons: One module in the first pair I received was bad. Unfortunately, if you purchase as a pair you have to return as a pair, so my new home server was out of commission for over a week while waiting for a replacement. Replacement modules both worked great, passing rigorous memtest86 testing without errors.

Overall Review: Cost me an extra ~$5 and lots of waiting because of the return. Newegg made it up to me though, as there was a free 4GB flash drive surprise gift with the second pair. How cool is that?

Pros: Very little chance of interference with your CPU heatsink.

Cons: Lack of a heatsink means these are perhaps not the best choice if you intend to overclock and/or overvolt. I should note I have not experimented with either using these, so they may be perfectly capable.

Overall Review: If you don't want to find that your RAM can't be used in the first slot or causes you concern because it is bumping up against the bottom of the massive heatsink you've installed (an issue I've personally encountered), RAM like this is the way to go. The low voltage requirement means that at standard settings heat will not be an issue.

Pros: - Cheap price - I put this into a 1.5 year old stock Dell system paired with an AMD Athlon II X2. Everything works great and I can now stream 1080p videos without a problem. - Does what it's supposed to do

Cons: - None!

Overall Review: - This ram is great. Highly recommended!
