Pros: cheap, 120gb, SATA3.
Cons: Just read some more reviews and appears to have a rather high failure rate.
Overall Review: Used only for light end users. Mostly web surfing and less than 4 hours a day. Bought 2 at different times and this is the first one to go. Died just one week short of 4 months. Trying to RMA now. I'll wait to complete the review of the other SSD after several months of usage, and after my experience with Mushkin.
Pros: Pretty fast SSD. Fantastic price. Comes with a nice black 2.5 to 3.5 adapter. Bought two for a Raid 0 setup.
Cons: Price went down $5 since I bought them. Firmware updater does not work in Raid 0 configs Undid Raid 0 to update firmware and it found my drives but I wouldn't update the firmware
Overall Review: In Raid 0 with compressable files Read: 933 Mb/sec Write: 922 Mb/sec In Raid 0 with uncompressable files Read: 385 Mb/sec Write: 325 Mb/sec
Pros: Faster than stated no problems whatsoever
Cons: Wish it was back on stock so I could buy 2 more.
Pros: Fast, reliable and the name is fun to say! This is my second SSD from Mushkin and they remain very high on my list when searching for parts.
Cons: None
Overall Review: It's only 120GB, I knew that going in and bought within the budget I had set for myself. I wish I had gone for the 180GB, but I'm still very happy with this and Mushkin.
Pros: Purchased this from Newegg to replace an older HDD from a Dell laptop. The HDD was only 120GB so an additional 120GB in SSD was a plus. I was skeptical at first because Mushkin isn't a brand I normally heard of but it's doing its job still. Build quality was on par with some of the other "Brand" name SSD's. I've purchased SanDisk Extreme's, Intel's, Seagate's, Samsung and Kingston's SSD's before and the Mushkin's quality is on par with theirs. The package came with 3.5" mounting brackets but I didn't need to use them. Plugged into laptop and installed new Windows 7 and it worked fine! One other Pro: Laptop was only SATA II and the Mushkin states it's SATA III, but it still worked.
Cons: I have noticed that transfer speeds are NOT what is advertised. I understand that the number they provide is the HIGHEST number it can achieve, but they should also give the medium number to expect also. In my case, I know that it was my hardware that was the bottle neck in all this. Laptop was simple Core2Duo (2.0Ghz), 4GB Ram and SATA II...while the Mushkin SSD is SATA III. Last Con: you never get 240GB. I got only 224 GB of capacity. It's a gripe I write all the time about when doing these reviews but it will never change. When will the day come when the manufactures produce a 270 GB but only advertise it as 240GB?
Overall Review: Again, my issue was the hardware limiting the Mushkin SSD to reach its true potential. Even if you've never heard of Mushkin before or never heard of their name, the quality of this SSD rivals those big brand named SSD's. I've been using it for minor gaming and photo editing and so far it's treated me good. It's much much faster than a typical 7200RPM hard drive. Just make sure you have a SATA III controller to get the best maximum data exchange results. My advice: get it! Its worth the money and the quality is there.
Pros: This does run at advertized specifications and I paid $150
Cons: none
Overall Review: I got this on sale for $150 and it does run at advertized specifications. I put this in my MSI GT70
Pros: Very fast SSD when used with sata 6.0 standard. Good size to put system on, and make a seperat gamining partition for your slowest loading games. Muskin service is STELLAR! Average speed is around 480 with peaks into the 540's. Faster than others I have used. As a system builder, good customer service from manufacture is very important when I decide whether to use a product...call me old fashioned but I don't mind paying a bit more for that.
Cons: I had one go bad. I have bought 4 over the past couple of months and that is not very good odds. However, I am unsure what caused the failure, it was in a docking station, and was going to be a target for an OS. It just stopped working.
Overall Review: I RMA's to Muskin anf they were awesome in every way. They advanced shipped me a replacement the next day, with my collateral credit card number. They paid for the shipping as well. Make sure to register all of your products with these guys, so your warranty is covered. I am happy these have been going on sale. 180 or a 240 are a better size if you can find them on sale.

Eggxpert Review
Pros: incredible speeds at a very decent price! Purchased it on promo in March '12 when they sold it at $240 (was a good deal back then) ... well all SSDs dropped price later on haha, but this unit has served me very well, never a hiccups! frequent f/w updates keeping the drive in the best condition.
Cons: none
Overall Review: wish I waited 2 months with buying it, would have saved me $40-70 or even more considering recent SSD deals from Crucial ;)
