Not many manufacturers can say they design, assemble and test their products in the U.S.A. But Mushkin has been engineering its products in the U.S.A. since its inception in 1994. I'm sorry to say, the original drive that I received in time to give to my son for Christmas in 2018 and we installed shortly thereafter, would not take an image or even be recognized by the system initially.
We were issued a replacement by New Egg without hassle and installed the replacement drive about a week later.
That replacement drive has essentially been the primary in my son's gaming PC since early January and has been fine. But this past weekend (9/08/19) the drive was not recognized by the system ... again
SO it ran for under 9mos then died - of course we have no current backup, but the original drive was still in the PC as a secondary drive and was still bootable. We are back to that one, a mechanical 1Tb drive.
Since it's been 9 mos, I now have to RMA through Mushkin for another replacement. I've very wary of this equipment now - I really hope that they have improved it in the time since I purchased.
Overall Review: At this point, I cannot say I would rely on this brand of drive. Very disappointing even if I do get a replacement. I didn't buy a SSD drive so that it could fail (twice)...suppose to be more dependable than mechanical drives. Not.
Pros: Small size, good capacity. Have not placed in system yet. But based on spec's expect great thing from this.as with all Muskin products.

2. They are reliable. Even the one that died in a power surge came back to life long enough to recover the data.

Overall Review: I have bought 4 Mushkin SSDs so far. One died in a power outage. Well, the controller died. But I got it to be recognized and copied everything off the drive. The NAND itself was fine. These perform really well and are a great value for the money. Oh, and they are designed and made in the USA. So it's one less product for which I Have to send my money to some other country.
Pros: Gave my Alienware 14 laptop efficiency specs from 4.5 to 7.2 +...........I am a very happy camper......been working fine since I purchased it, thank you folks.....

Overall Review: I bought this drive on 11/23/2018, The drive was installed on a media computer and was used to store about 700mb of video files. A couple of weeks ago 06/15/2019 my wife said all the movies were gone. The drive letter was still displaying but the drive was unavailable. All format attempts failed. So the end state is the drive is unusable and all the data is lost. I will attempt to return the drive for replacement but based on the reviews of other is sounds like that may be a challenging process with Mushkin.

Overall Review: I bought this bad boy on 7/10/2015 and lasted till 6/20/2019 4 years strong. Died without any signs on a power down.
