The NETGEAR GS308PP is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with PoE+ on all eight ports and an 83W total power budget, suited to small offices or home networks powering devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.

    Recommended For

    • Homeowners or small offices wiring several PoE IP cameras and an access point who want one plug-and-play switch rather than separate power injectors; check that the devices’ combined power draw stays within 83W.
    • Small offices connecting PoE IP phones, access points, and wired computers on a standard gigabit network, when automatic setup is preferable to configuring switch features.
    • People placing a switch in a quiet home office or noise-sensitive room who need PoE connections without adding fan noise.
    • Installers adding a small wired network at a desk or on a wall who want a compact, fanless switch with mounting options and no software setup.
