I'm trying to use this with a Vista computer and a Dlink wired TV device, but the two can't work at the same time. Anybody know about this? Thanks.

I am guessing that you have connected the Netis switch to a modem of some type, such as cable or DSL, and are now trying to connect your computer and the Dlink TV device to the Netis switch. The problem is that the modem is not running DHCP and NAT which are the things needed to route to multiple devices. Some modems also have the ability to be routers, but if your modem only has one RJ-45 Ethernet port then it most likely is just a modem without a router. The Netis unmanaged switch is only a switch, it is NOT a router. It allows you to expand the number of devices connected to a router, but the router is REQUIRED because it is what takes care of the routing, this switch only adds extra connections. You are only getting one device at a time connected because the modem assigns its connection to the first device that asks for it. You need a router. Now, if you would like to connect the modem to your computer and then using a 2nd Ethernet card connect the Netis switch to the computer then you can configure your computer to act as a router and route through the switch, but that is a whole lot of configuring. My suggestion is to get a router and hook it up to the modem then hook your devices to the router. Use the Netis switch, connected to the router, if you need more connections than what the router offers.
