Is this a Grey market camera?

Then it IS Grey market!!! Any and All Nikons come with a US warranty good for 3 years and Must be serviced by sending camera to nearest Nikon Service Center. This camera here is Grey market with dealer Only warranty and the actual cost of the camera is less than a third of the US camera and can be seen and felt!! If there is a firmware version upgrade in the future, this camera can Only read Chinese and after you upgrade through your PC All language will convert back to Chinese with No way to fix it back!! Stay away from This camera.

So im thinking about purchasing this item. Is this the US Version? If not, i read above that updating the firmware will kick it back to Chinese etc. So what's the deal with that? Will I be able to update the firmware without issues?

I would only trust it to be a US version if Newegg is listed as the seller. I purchased a D7200 body through Newegg not realizing it was fulfilled by a third party (Photo-4-Now) which was a horrible experience--I not only received a grey market camera, but it came in a kit lens box without the lens, opened, missing all the documentation except a beat up manual. It took 3 weeks to finally receive a replacement through Newegg, fufilled by Newegg, and it arrived defective... I then had to wait 2 more weeks for Nikon to fix it under warranty... love the camera; terrible experience getting it.

Does this come with a 1 year Nikon USA warranty?

Yes, however make sure the camera you plan to purchase states sold by newegg.com, not through a 3rd party.
