the Jetson TK1 board uses between 1.5W to 45W depending on what you plug into it (through USB, mini-PCIe, SATA, SD-card, HDMI, audio, GPIO, expansion port, etc). The absolute max power draw of Jetson TK1 if you push everything to the limit and use every port including SATA and PCIe is 58W (4.8A @ 12V). So a 10W to 15W power supply is enough for powering Jetson TK1 in most cases, but a 60W power supply will ensure you always have enough power in all cases.

Does it have an SD card slot?

Yes, it has an SD slot.  It also has flash embedded, which is pre-flashed with Linux for Tegra, essentially Ubuntu 14 for ARM 32-bit, so you can boot the system without an SD card.

Does this come with the fan for the processor? Some of the product images online show it without any cooling.

This is a stand alone Linux system with ARM processors.  Of course you can use a PC to ssh in over the network to talk to it, also.

I wanted ROS support on mine and had no real trouble putting a new filesystem onto an SD card from Windows.  You just have to get it formatted correctly, which was a pain on Win7, 64bit.

I use kit in labaratory environment, so I just added plastic plate over board using 4 spacers and appropriate screws

The development kit is 5 in square and slightly less than one inch high.  
It is not upgradeable aside from the periphals that can be added, e.g. an SD card, sata drive with included power connector, fan connector, and mini pci-express.
The kit has Ubuntu 14.04 pre-installed.  It is compatible with any version of Linux built for Arm architectures.
I've tried a Lenovo 19" touchscreen, and it seems to work fine.  It has two I/o connectors, one of which is for a touchscreen, that I haven't tried so I am unable to speak to its capabilities.

Is it possible to add more than the 2gb of memory?

I don't believe so. It has 2GB Mem and 16GB eMMC on board. It has a mini-PCIE slot for expansion. It does, however, have a port to attach a Solid state hard drive, or other sata3 hard drive.

Can I run Android on this or I had to use Linux?

At the moment, unfortunately, you have to run linux because NVIDIA has not ported Android to the dev kit. A huge mistake, if you ask me, but then again, this is a development kit focused on wetting your lips on the silicon and CUDA. This dev board is for developers to cut their teeth on CUDA, rather than any real focus on product integration. When the 64-bit Denver dev board comes out soon, I have a feeling that it will ship with an option for Android.

Well, its a standard PCB thickness (<2mm).  If you want the overall thickness, its about 1".  You should be able to deduce this from the height of the serial port.  If you cant determine which one that is, you probably shouldnt be buying this as its a dev board.  Go buy a Pi or something.
