Question 1

How do SSDs fit in there with the tool-less design? Do they slide right in? I'm assuming a regular 2.5"-3.5" converter bracket wouldn't work here, do you need something like an IcyDock?

On the contrary... I used a 2.5" to 3.5" converter bracket and it fit fine in one of the 3.5" bays. I think the bottom of the bay area might also be drilled for SSD mounting. The tool-less bracket removes with a central twist clasp. The bracket has two pins which align with the converter bracket side screw holes. Works great! Only one side of the drive bays have these brackets, but there are plenty of bays so I used one spare bracket on the other side of the SSD bay.  Worked fine! Otherwise 2 drive bay screws could be used.
     Loved this case. Great layout, good space, plenty of ventilation--my main reason for choosing, removable front grill. Only has front filter, but I used a few aftermarket magnetic filter grills attached to top, side, and bottom vent areas. Works great. Exceptional case for the price!

Question 2

Is there a 2.5" drive bay for a SSD, or will I have to buy a 2.5"/3.5" bracket kit for a SSD? Thanks in advance.

There are 4 screw holes in the bottom of the hard drive cage which look like they might approximate SSD mounting holes.  Can't be sure if the spacing was correct.  I don't think it was.

I decided to use a 2.5"/3.5" adapter and mount the SSD in the drive cage with the Quick-Release pin mounts.  The Quick-Mounts will fit on both sides of the drive cage and allow easy swapping of drive location.  A bottom mount might give problems with SATA cable length and also would require access to the case bottom for mounting screw attachment.

Very satisfied with this case!

Will the Radeon R9 270 fit?

The 3.5" hard drive bays face back to front.  They might keep the card from fitting.  IDK ask NZXT Customer support.  Sorry for the stupid answer.

Will this case fit a Hyper 212 EVO?

I ran with the stock CPU fan, but I'd say that it will fit. It is very unlikely for a manufacturer (especially of that class) to make an oversize cooler, that would not let the lid of a standard case close.

Longest it can probably fit is 12 inches.

Pc part picker says that my gigabyte GeForce 660 won't fit without removing drive bays, is this true?

I've got a Sapphire HD 7950 in mine and it fits. According to the dimensions from the GeForce site and the Sapphire site, you card should fit fine. The only part to worry about is the width. The 660 is wider and might interfere (depending on the motherboard) with an aftermarket cooler), but otherwise, you're fine.

What is the large st MOBO it holds?

You're going to be looking for the ATX mobo's to put into it. As far as I know there are ATX cases for ATX mobo's and there are also ATI cases for ATI Mobos. This case supports ATX, and MICRO-ATX mobo's without a problem as far as actual size in inches and such you'll need to probably google that. Good luck!

I own this case and have a 750m power supply that fits very well. but I want to upgrade my graphics card this summer and also need to upgrade to a 1000w power supply to accommodate the card. My question is if there are any power supplies at that output that would fit in this case?

Most power supplies should be made for an ATX case, as older case models are pretty much a thing of the past.  There are exceptions, but as long as it says ATX you should be good.

Yes Andrew..  I have one of those cases myself.. The fans are 120mm and 
will do okay.. I added another 4 case fans..  Only use a higher wattage
PSU for better air flow..  The more power in a build, the faster it works.
