OCZ OCZTFRZTC Freeze Extreme Thermal Conductivity Compound

Pros: Doesn't dry out after a year later. In several reviews wins out over Arctic Silver. My personal tests, wins hands down.

Overall Review: Use a razor blade to spread a very thin ammount evenly accross the CPU or GPU and apply the heatsink and forget about it. I just yesterday I took my EVGA GeForce GTS 450 Superclocked GPU apart for my ritual cleaning, and used the OCZ Freeze and it dropped my idle temps down 4 degrees celcius. At idle i normally run at 30-31 celcius. With OCZ freeze I now idle at 26.5 celcius. Under load running Arma II I ran at 47-49 fan @ 95%. Now with OCZ Freeze it never went over 44 celcius fan @ 85%. THAT my friends is what I call thermal paste!

Pros: Non-toxic, long-lasting, contains no metals (no chance of an electrical short), doesn't need time to "set in" and seems to conduct heat with the best of them. I used to spread the paste before, but the "small drop in the middle of the heatspreader" installation method seems to work well with this stuff. What's not to love?

Cons: None that I can think off.

Overall Review: Don't see any reason to use anything else from now on.

Pros: I threw this on a few CPU's in my servers because one had its paste get so old that it was just chipping off every time I moved the heatsink. I wasn't aiming to cool off more, the things only ran 35C at their absolute worst, I just wanted new paste that might have more quality behind it. It did end up cooling off though, the CPU's ran an average of 30C and now average 26C, so the things are nearing room temperature when nothing serious is going on. Thats pretty freakin amazing.

Cons: My CPU's are probably thanking me in 0's and 1's right now for a nice cool down, so I can't think of a single con.

Overall Review: I've honestly never done thermal paste before, I've dealt with cleaning it just not applying it, and you REALLY need to push slow and be patient when using these things. I'm glad I used it over a napkin first because I made a ton come out, and I'm also glad I still had enough to use for what I wanted.

Pros: I ran my computer without this, using the factory-applied thermal paste that came with my CPU. That worked alright. I cleaned that off and applied this, and saw a temperature drop of 6 degrees Celsius. The paste is pretty thick and doesn't run at all.

Cons: None. It's easy to apply, doesn't come out too fast, and cools better than you may expect.

Overall Review: You could apply this to multiple CPUs with the amount contained by the tube (Make use of this; the shelf life is 24 months!).

Pros: This thermal paste is the best I have ever used and I have used many over the years. Its even better than that A-S-5 <<<you know what i mean stuff. I had a cool 10c drop in temps useing a vendetta 2 cooler. There is no cure time and it wont degrade over time either.

Cons: It's a little pricey compared to some of the competition but then again so is "a famous silver-based thermal paste". Coming from "a famous silver-based thermal paste", using this was a bit difficult to use. Read other thoughts for details.

Overall Review: This paste is almost plastic-like, nothing near the consistency of "a famous silver-based thermal paste" and more difficult to use because of it. It's nothing anyone with minimal experience even can get around, but it's a minor con when compared to silver-based pastes as it is more difficult to work with. the bonus of extra cooling power more than salvages this minor issue however.

Pros: It is better than AS-% by a longshot dropped my temps by 7-8 Degrees Awesome Stuff here

Cons: Didn't put it self on.

Pros: works better than anything I've ever used, including the infamous "arctic silver" I wonder why people still use that stuff.

Cons: does not cook my tea

Overall Review: no curing time, can you believe it? put it on, screw in the heatsink (noctua u12p se for me), overclock to 4 ghz and enjoy 74C max in prime 95 on my hottest core, after hours and hours of use.
