Can you get the rated speed using the Ryzen 5 2600 or the 2600x?

I am able to run the rated speed with 3400G. Considering this CPU is acutally based on 2nd Gen Ryzen platform, I speculate the answer will be "yes".

Question 2

Are there compatibility issues with ASRock Pro4 motherboards?  My new build can barely make it past the boot screen before it restarts, could this be a ram issue?

Shouldn't be. Which CPU, and exact model of your MB? For first time boot up run everything stock. No XMP, no overclocked CPU. All stock. It is common for the MB to restart up to 3 - 5 times. It's called RAM training. If you have 4 ram slots make sure you populated the correct 2. Read your MB's manual to see which two memory slots to use.

Is it possible to use the RGB on the RAM sticks as part of a Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0- enabled rig?

I have a Gigabyte x470 Aorus board and I had to install Asus Aura sync to control them. Unfortunately Gigabyte doesn't seem to care much about their software.

So I saw one review say that these sticks just stay with the Rainbow color, but they say they are compatible with ASRocks Polychromesync and a number of different Mobo software control. Will I be able to change the colors at all with ASRocks Polychromesync or will they actually only be the rainbow setting?

They just change colors. They're new so maybe sometime soon they will be compatible with mobo

That is exactly what I did with my older Ryzen system.  Working great on an Asrock B350 Pro4  and Ryzen 1800x  32gb Ram is working well at 3200.

I have ryzen 1600 will this reach the advertised speeds on a gigabyte x370 mobo?

The best I have achieved on this set of ram is 2900mhz on my ASRock AB350 Pro4 with an r7 1800x.  Anything higher and it is unstable.  I did not try it in my ASRock X370 TaiChi Mobo with the r9 3900x.  My original 3200 mhz Corsair RGB Ram is running correctly and didn't want to upset the system since it works fine.

I did not read the description when I ordered mine, so I missed that this is tuned for Zen 3000 series.  All good, working fine for my secondary productivity machine.
