THX Integrated System Plus CertifiedTHX Certified I/S Plus is geared to small home theater environments and residential living rooms with 8 foot viewing distances from the video display to the seating positions. Tested by THX as a complete system, the Onkyo HT-S9300THX’s all components - receiver, speakers and amplifier - are all designed and optimized to work together to deliver THX quality audio and video presentations.
HDMI v1.4The new HDMI v1.4 enables advanced features such as maximum resolution to 4k x 2k, 3D Over HDMI, Ethernet connection between the two HDMI connected devices and Audio Return Channel (ARC). ARC allows receiving audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This new feature will simplify the connection by eliminating an audio cable connection between TV audio output and the main unit's audio input.
HDMI 1080p Upscaling Powered by Faroujda DCDi CinemaFaroudja DCDi Cinema video processor up-converts video content up to 1080p resolution, and meanwhile effectively eliminates video artifacts and reduces video noise for high-quality high definition output to HDTVs via HDMI.
