Will these work on my non-BD-R drive on my computer?

If you only have a drive that is DVD these will not work. You must have a drive that is Blu-Ray. Also if you plan to record these on your Blu-ray recorder you must purchase the software to copy.
You should also know that if you plan to copy commercial movie Blu-rays you will need to buy a copy decryptor. Because of recent treaties with other countries and copyrite laws, I will wish you good luck......

These only burn 2x in my 16x WH16NS40
Any ideas why?

I personally use the WH14NS40 (14x version of what you use) and burn at either 6x or 8x without problem using these discs.  My best guess would be either software (try something else.  I use ImgBurn personally) or firmware on your burner.  You could also search the forums of the LG site and see other people have similar problems with that drive.

HI. What is the color of the disk surface?

It is a blue surface. Works in many blu ray players. Haven't made a coaster yet out of 50 discs.

Are these HTL or LTH?

From a few minute of research, they are most likely LTH. My use for them is mainly for video storage and given the methods in how Optical disc are done, the degrade of Data is expected. I been burning Blu-rays sense 2008 and they hold up pretty well. The brand I was using earlier were the Maxell. I used much cheaper brands and they held up for sometime but it is mainly for Video. In any process of storage the data is going to degrade no matter what medium is used. The next best thing is proper storage methods. I use a notebook design to storage Blu-rays. Conditions and environment are important as well to help extend the life of stored data on an optical disc. This is a better question left to the manufacture vinpowerdigital.
