Question 1

So it says there is a zoom in the specs, but other sites say it does not, can you confirm? I have a fixed position about 15 feet away that I have to mount to, I am worried the picture will be too big, & less bright than I'd like/ How big or small can the screen be at 15 feet? Thanks for your help : )

The projector does indeed have a zoom function. accessible via the remote control. In fact, if you zoom in on the fourth picture, you can see the zoom button on the remote control. The maximum throw range for the projector is listed as 16.5 ft, and the max display size is listed as 33ft, so i would guess the projected image would about 30ft across from 15 ft away. I have my projector about 5ft from my wall, and the projected image is about 11.5ft across. Also, I have no problems with brightness. I usually leave the lights off for effect, but the screen is quite visible even with the lights on.

Why does it say the resolution is 1280x720 (720p) then underneath say the maximum resolution is1920x200 which is greater resolution than 1080p 1920x1080?

It's called scaling. The projector can accepted inputs up to 1920x1200. Due to the native resolution of the projector however it will combine pixels and reduce that resolution to 1280x720.

Question 3

Hi,
Where is the heat of the projector coming from? Is it from the front or the sides?
I am asking because I would like to use the projector on its head (from the ceiling and down)

Yes. The projector can be ceiling mounted. The vents pictured to the left of the lens are where the heat comes out. This unit, as with most units, are mounted to the ceiling upside down and then the orientation is selected in the setup. There should not be any problems or obstructions in ventilation if mounted properly. Mounting hardware is sold separately.
