The item description says "no mic" and the pictures show a volume control. Does the J55 have the volume control shown in your pictures and just doesn't have a mic for use with an iPhone, or did you guys show an incorrect photo in a couple of places??

I don't see the photo you're referring to. Unless they have recently changed it, there are only two identical photos that don't show any volume control or mic. These do not have either, and I did not think it would matter, but I wish I would have gotten the J55i model which has the mic and volume controls. Don't get me wrong, the headphones are nice, but I did order a set of the J88i because they were on sale and have the mic and controls. I realized that when I ran on the treadmill with these it was very inconvenient to have to hold the phone in order to change songs and volume. I hope this helps.

Correct, this model doesn't have the mic.  If you want the mic you need to order the JBL J88a model.
