Comes with a C-C cable.  Will it work with Android?

Tried it with my wife's phone. It looks like it is identified by the OS but doesn't want to use it as a hard disk. I'm not sure if this is because I have two partitions on it already or not. I imagine that even if my SSD wasn't initialized, partitioned, and formatted (it has both Fat32 and NTFS partitions at the moment) that we would not likely have any better luck. It wanted to "Pair" with it and that doesn't seem right if we were trying to use it as external storage. It's my wife's phone and I don't want to format my disk because it has data on it so that's as far as I'm willing to take it.

For what it's worth this external drive deal has been fantastic for other uses. Other than it throttling due to getting pretty warm it still transfers at 500MB/s and averages at around 300MB/s via USB 3.1. I hope that helps.

Is this backwards compatible with USB 1 & 2 ?

Just plugged mine in to a USB 2 port & copied a file off to my C drive. Don't have a USB 1 port.

Will this work with a SAMSUNG XP941?

Its working fine for my PCIe SSD so I imagine it would work for your PCIe SSD. If yours was not PCIe I'd say no.

If it's a model XP941 (with Samsung chips) it can work. That XP941 is a favorite for owners of Macs too old to startup from an nVMe protocol SSD, but want the speed of Parallel hookup "P-C-I-e"

Would a Samsung SSD 2TB (980 Pro) with a factory heatsink fit in this enclosure?
