Bob Beamon is an American former track and field athlete, best known for his world record in the long jump at the Mexico Olympics in 1968, which remained the world record for 22 years, 316 days until it was broken in 1991 by Mike Powell. This is the second longest holding of this record, as Jesse Owens held the record for 25 years, 1935–1960. Bob Beamon has hand signed this 16x20 Photo from the 1968 Olympics in Mexico.
