" The song was a number one hit in the United States and internationally. Jack Greene was an American country musician. Nicknamed the "Jolly Greene Giant" due to his height and deep voice, Greene was a long time member of the Grand Ole Opry and a three-time Grammy Award nominee. Lynn Anderson & Jack Greene have both hand signed this 2006 Madacy Best of Country CD Disc #4.
