Additionally, the constant f/ 2.8 maximum aperture allows consistent performance even in the full zoom range.



The Super Multi-Layer Coating suppresses flare and ghosting and renders higher contrast and color fidelity in strong lighting conditions and harsh climates. The integrated HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) outputs quick and quiet autofocus. The HSM even allows full-time manual focus override. Further, the Optical Stabilizer assists handheld shooting and minimizes camera shake resulting in sharper imagery.







The Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material construction allows greater precision and withstands wide temperature variations.
