DG HSM Art lens:
The Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens features a wide-angle zoom that can be used in FX-format and DX-format cameras. It has enhanced performance with an aperture range of f/4 to f/22. The constant f/4 maximum aperture gives the same radiance throughout the zoom range. To minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing for all zoom values, one Special Low Dispersion element, and five F Low Dispersion elements are used. Thus it results in clear and accurate pictures. The lens is also equipped with three aspherical elements to adjust spherical aberrations and distortion, producing sharp images.



Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens has been coated with a Super Multi-Layer that lowers lens flare and ghosting. It also helps in creating contrast-rich and color-neutral imagery even in backlight conditions. It is incorporated with Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) that offers fast and quiet Autofocusing and produces smoother Autofocusing due to the addition of an optimized AF algorithm. The lens also provides full-time manual focus control by merely rotating the focus ring at any time that is permitted by HSM. The design incorporates a rounded 9-blade diaphragm that offers smooth and pleasant bokeh quality.







To protect from harsh weather, the Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art lens has a front element with a water and oil-repellent coating. It is built with Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material that adds value to the product by facilitating its use in a wide temperature range. The lens is complemented with a brass bayonet that results in improvement of mounting accuracy and rigidity. The rubber sealing attached to it makes it dust and splash resistant. This lens is beneficial for working with fast continuous shooting thanks to the electromagnetic aperture mechanism for greater exposure control.
