The design comes with two FLD and two SLD elements that reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations and limit distortion. The rounded 9-blade diaphragm renders astounding bokeh quality images.



The Super Multi-Layer Coating suppresses flare and ghosting and renders higher contrast and color fidelity in strong lighting conditions and harsh climates. The integrated HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) outputs quick and quiet autofocus. The HSM even allows full-time manual focus override.







The lens is appropriate for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras; however, it is compatible with APS-C models also. The lens provides 202.5 mm equivalent focal length in DX Camera models. Additionally, brass bayonet mount provides rigidity and mounting precision. The front lens is constructed using Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material that can withstand temperature variation.
