Tamron SP 15-30mm f/ 2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens possesses a bright f/ 2.8 maximum aperture that allows crisp imagery in difficult lighting conditions. Further, it provides improved control over the depth of field that facilitates subject isolation and enables working with selective focus techniques. Additionally, the constant f/ 2.8 aperture allows consistent performance even in the full zoom range. Also, the lens offers an electromagnetic diaphragm for accurate and correct exposure control during continuous shooting at high rates.

Di VC USD G2 Lens:

The Ultrasonic Silent Drive (USD) autofocus motor outputs quick and quiet autofocus. The USD even allows full-time manual focus override. Additionally, the TAP-in Console compatibility allows fine-tuning and intuitive focusing adjustments. It can even be used for firmware updates.




The AX, eBAND, and BBAR Coating suppresses flare and ghosting and renders higher contrast and color fidelity in strong lighting conditions and harsh climates. Further, the design comes with one XGM, two glass-molded, and three low dispersion elements that reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations and limit distortion. Additionally, the VC image stabilization minimizes camera shake up to 4.5 stops for crisp handheld shooting. There are three VC modes to select from as per stability requirements.




The lens is appropriate for full-frame Nikon F-mount cameras; however, it is compatible with DX models also. The lens provides 22.5 -45mm equivalent focal length in DX models. Additionally, the lens has an ergonomic and sturdy weather-sealed construction renders improved handling and greater endurance for harsh weather conditions. Further, the construction is also dust and moisture-sealed, making it perfect for outdoor shooting.
