The Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive (VXD) motor outputs extremely responsive and quiet autofocus and full-time manual focus override. This is perfect for both still and video captures. Additionally, the lens is compatible with Sony's Direct Manual Focus, which allows you to fine-tune the focus manually.
