Dakota Alert DCPA-4000 Driveway Probe Alert Alarm Kit

The DCPA-4000 Driveway Alarm Kit, a part of the Dakota Alert Wireless Security Products, helps to protect your home and property from unexpected intrusion and theft. This kit is specifically designed to keep a track of vehicles entering your property via the driveway and alerts you with an audio alarm whenever an unusual activity is detected. The kit includes the transmitter unit with a detection probe and the DCR-4000 receiver unit. How Does It Work? The transmitter comes with a 50 feet direct burial cable connecting the probe to the exterior case. The probe can be buried parallel to the driveway, while the cable can be run to a tree or post nearby, where the transmitter box is located.

The probe can detect vehicles passing by within a range of 10-12 feet. Once a vehicle is detected, the transmitter immediately sends a signal to the DCR-4000 receiver located at a distance of up to 1 mile (may vary depending on the environment), triggering an audio alarm to alert you. DCR-4000 Receiver Once a signal is received, DCR-4000 receiver unit will automatically trigger an alarm to alert you. The receiver unit can be used as a base to build your own wireless system by connecting to other compatible Dakota Alert transmitter units. It supports up to 12 different tunes, selected from the transmitter’s end, to distinguish between different zones from where the signal has been detected.

It also remains discreet to some extend as the probe is buried underground. The transmitter is weatherproof, making it suitable for exterior locations.
